Every April, our community celebrates the brilliance and resilience of autistic individuals. However, acceptance isn’t something Aspiritech reserves for one month. We celebrate and embrace autism every single day of the year.
How does autism acceptance look at our nonprofit? It’s team members getting the accommodations they need to do their best work. New hires landing their first jobs in tech after years of being told they weren’t the right fit. Friendships forming over shared interests in low-pressure social settings. And above all else, neurodivergent adults being welcomed and valued for exactly who they are.
About This Year’s Campaign
This Autism Acceptance Month, we’re inviting you to Plant the Seed for an inclusive future filled with the opportunities that every autistic and neurodivergent person deserves.
Donate $10 or more to our April campaign, and we’ll send you a sunflower seed packet as a token of our appreciation. It’s a small but meaningful symbol: Sunflowers have become a symbol of invisible disabilities, and they stand for the growth and blossoming brilliance that come from genuine care and nurturing. Plant and tend to them, then watch them grow alongside Aspiritech’s autistic team and community members you’ve supported with your generous donation.
When your sunflowers are in bloom, share them with us on social media using #GrowWithAspiritech and tagging @Aspiritech on LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram. You’ll be joining a wave of supporters who believe, as we do, that the right environment helps everyone flourish.

The ACE Fund provides grants to Aspiritech team members navigating financial challenges and new life circumstances. This safety net allows people to stay focused on maintaining stability through uncertain changes.
Stepping Up & Out, our beloved community-building program, has helped autistic adults forge genuine friendships through shared interests, online discussions and Chicagoland outings since 2012.
Aspiritech Academy offers cost-free career training in quality assurance, cybersecurity and more. With our partners’ and donors’ help, we’re building real employment pathways for neurodivergent adults in new and meaningful ways every day.
Our dedicated support team works tirelessly to make sure every Aspiritech team member has what they need to do their best work and live their fullest life.
