With a client portfolio ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 clients, Aspiritech harnesses the unique strengths of autism such as attention-to-detail, focus, and strong visual processing skills to provide manual and automated testing, hardware and software testing, and data integrity and migration services to renowned brands such as Goldman Sachs, Abbvie and Bose.
Moshe and Brenda Weitzberg founded Aspiritech in 2008 and have grown the organization to employ more than 100 autistic team members. Aspiritech is a quality assurance, testing, and data services not-for-profit company that aims to enrich the lives of autistic team members by providing meaningful employment coupled with social opportunities.
“We founded Aspiritech in 2008 around our kitchen table, as parents with hopes for our autistic son, Oran,” Co-Founders Moshe and Brenda Weitzberg said. “Now that we are past retirement age, we realized that it was time to retire, but also take all steps to ensure Aspiritech’s future. We know our greatest legacy will be an Aspiritech that thrives well beyond our tenure—one that continues to grow, one that continues to shine a spotlight on the talents of adults with autism, and one that remains a tireless advocate on behalf of neurodiversity in the workplace.”

“Since working at Aspiritech I can say that I’ve gained self-confidence, especially in my communication skills,” said Bobby Dowling, a job coach at Aspiritech. “I have found that once you understand the experience that each person has had, you can better comprehend how to communicate, especially with those of us who have neurodivergent backgrounds.” Aspiritech makes it a priority to support autistic team members in a variety of ways, including employment support specialists, quiet focus rooms in the office, noise-canceling headphones, flexibility in scheduling, and more.
Through support from its generous donors, the organization also offers its Stepping Up and Out program to reduce isolation and build friendships and an ACE Fund to support team members in financial need.
Aspiritech works in partnership with many other organizations celebrating neurodiversity, including the Neurodiversity @ Work Employer Roundtable, Neurowrx, and the new Evanston-based Neurodiversity Hub.
“Aspiritech is an incredible organization,” Board President Ester Stein said. “Their contributions cannot be overstated. We are so grateful for all they have done and will do everything we can to carry on their legacy.”
The Aspiritech Board of Directors is working with Noetic Executive Search to find Aspiritech’s next CEO. Brenda and Moshe Weitzberg will be staying on in their current roles until a new leader is in place to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
