Aspiritech Academy Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all individuals who apply to, are accepted into, or participate in Aspiritech Academy (“Program”) offered by Aspiritech (“Aspiritech,” “we,” or “us”). By participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility and Enrollment

  • The Program is designed for autistic and neurodivergent adults, generally age 18 or older.
  • Admission to the Program is at Aspiritech’s sole discretion and space may be limited, with certain sessions already full.
  • You agree that all information you provide in your application and during enrollment is accurate and complete.

Program Format and Attendance

  • The Program typically runs for five to six weeks, Monday through Friday, with activities generally scheduled between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Central Time; participants can expect to engage for approximately six hours per day.
  • The Program includes virtual training in quality assurance, soft skills training, individual and group sessions, and related activities as described on the Aspiritech Academy webpage and in program materials.
  • You are responsible for attending scheduled sessions on time and for communicating promptly with Aspiritech staff if you are unable to attend or need accommodation.

Program Content and Changes

  • Aspiritech may update, modify, or replace any aspect of the Program, including schedule, instructors, curriculum, guest speakers, and delivery methods, at any time.  
  • Aspiritech does not guarantee that any particular topic, instructor, or session listed in prior materials will be available in your specific cohort.

Technology and Access

  • The Program is delivered primarily online. You are responsible for having reliable internet access, appropriate hardware, and any necessary software to participate.  
  • Aspiritech is not responsible for your inability to participate due to technical issues on your side (e.g., device failure, internet outages).

Participant Conduct

  • You agree to behave respectfully and professionally toward staff, guest speakers, and fellow participants, including during virtual meetings, chat, and email communications.  
  • Harassment, discrimination, bullying, or other disruptive conduct may result in removal from the Program at Aspiritech’s discretion.  
  • You agree not to share offensive, unsafe, or inappropriate content during any Program activity.

Non‑Employment Status

  • Participation in the Program does not create an employment relationship with Aspiritech.  
  • Completion of the Program, including receipt of a Certificate of Completion, does not guarantee employment with Aspiritech or any other organization.
  • Any future employment opportunities are subject to separate application, selection, and onboarding processes.

Certificate of Completion

  • Participants who meet Program requirements, including attendance and participation standards established by Aspiritech, may receive an official Certificate of Completion.
  • Aspiritech may withhold or revoke a certificate in cases of academic dishonesty, misconduct, or failure to meet Program requirements.

Privacy and Communications

  • Aspiritech may collect and use your contact information and basic demographic information for purposes of administering the Program, communicating with you, and improving services, consistent with its privacy practices.  
  • By enrolling, you consent to receive Program‑related communications by email and other contact methods you provide (e.g., schedule updates, resources, evaluation requests).
  • You may be invited to provide feedback or testimonials; providing such feedback is voluntary, and Aspiritech may request your permission before publicly sharing identifiable testimonials.

Intellectual Property

  • All Program materials, including recordings, presentations, documents, and curriculum, are owned by Aspiritech or its licensors.  
  • You receive a personal, non‑transferable license to use Program materials solely for your own learning and may not copy, distribute, or share them publicly without written permission.

Accessibility and Accommodations

  • Aspiritech aims to provide a supportive and flexible environment for neurodivergent individuals and will consider reasonable requests for accommodations to support access and participation.
  • You are encouraged to communicate accommodation needs to Program staff as early as possible.

Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aspiritech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your participation in the Program.  
  • Aspiritech does not guarantee any specific employment outcome, income level, or professional result from your participation in the Program.

Termination and Withdrawal

  • You may withdraw from the Program at any time by notifying Program staff.  
  • Aspiritech may suspend or remove you from the Program at its discretion for violation of these Terms or other program guidelines, or for conduct that interferes with the learning environment.

Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions (update this if your legal counsel prefers a different jurisdiction).  
  • Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Program or these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Illinois.

Changes to These Terms

  • Aspiritech may update these Terms from time to time.  
  • The version in effect at the time of your enrollment or continued participation will apply, and material changes may be communicated to you through reasonable means (such as email or updated Program materials).
