In-Demand Career Training for Neurodivergent Adults

Aspiritech Academy offers eight career-training programs built for neurodivergent adults. Every program is 100% virtual, competency-based, and ends with an Aspiritech Academy Certificate of Completion plus preparation for an industry-recognized certification.

Aspiritech Career Training Programs

Cybersecurity Pre-Apprenticeship

A 12-week virtual training program that forms the classroom (Related Technical Instruction) portion of Aspiritech’s U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship. Participants learn to identify threats, secure networks and cloud systems, respond to incidents, and apply the DoD’s CMMC framework.

Clock hours: 172 instructional hours

Tuition: $5,600 IL residents; $6,600 out-of-state

Certification: CompTIA Security+ SY0-701

Exam Fee: ~$400

Quality Assurance (QA)

A 6-week virtual program for people who notice what others overlook. Taught by working QA professionals, it covers the full testing workflow using industry tools like TestRail. Two courses can be taken individually or together as a Full Pathway.

QA for Beginners (6 weeks): Software testing fundamentals, test design, defect tracking in TestRail, automation awareness, and a final week of career readiness with a professional coach.
Digital Accessibility (6 weeks): WCAG and Section 508 standards, testing with screen readers and tools like axe DevTools and WAVE, and writing accessibility audit findings.

Clock hours: 240 per course

Tuition: $4,200 IL / $5,200 out-of-state per course; Full Pathway $8,000 IL / $9,000 out-of-state

Certification: DHS Trusted Tester

Exam Fee: Free

IT Foundations — Beginners

A 6-week program for learners with little or no tech experience. Participants build a base in computer hardware, operating systems, networking, security, and troubleshooting through hands-on labs.

Clock hours: 90

Tuition: $4,500 IL residents; $5,500 out-of-state

Certification: CompTIA Tech+

Exam Fee: $300–$400

IT Foundations — Intermediate

A 12-week program that builds applied skills in hardware setup, network troubleshooting, Windows/Mac/Linux administration, and security. It prepares graduates for help desk and IT support roles, and feeds into the Cybersecurity Pre-Apprenticeship.

Clock hours: 180

Tuition: $7,500 IL residents; $8,500 out-of-state

Certification: CompTIA A+

Exam Fee: $300–$400

Vibe Coding

A 6-week program in AI-assisted software development. Participants use AI coding tools and low-code/no-code platforms to build working apps, automate workflows, and finish with a capstone portfolio project.

Clock hours: 24 (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2 hours each)

Tuition: $6,800 IL residents; $7,800 out-of-state

Certification: ADaSci Certified Vibe Coding Practitioner

Exam Fee: $100–$300

Creative Digital Marketing

A 12-week program that turns creative strengths into a marketing career. It covers inbound marketing, SEO, design, copywriting, and campaign development, ending with a client-style campaign pitch. Graduates are prepared for roles like Junior Copywriter and Creative Strategist.

Tuition: $7,800 IL residents; $8,800 out-of-state

Certification: HubSpot Digital Marketing Certification

Exam Fee: Free

Intro to Manufacturing Technology (pending IBHE approval — Summer 2027)

An 8-week program covering modern manufacturing processes, safety, quality systems, measurement, CNC, robotics, and automation. It prepares participants for production, quality, and machining roles.

Clock hours: 120

Tuition: $4,500 IL residents; $5,500 out-of-state

Certification: SME Certified Manufacturing Associate (CMfgA)

Exam Fee: ~$100

Human Resources Specialist (pending IBHE approval — Summer 2027)

A 12-week program covering recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, and employment law. It includes a Neuroinclusion focus on accommodations and accessible, inclusive workplaces.

Clock hours: 180

Tuition: $7,600 IL residents; $8,600 out-of-state

Certification: HRCI Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR)

Exam Fee: ~$400

Good to Know

Funding help: Most participants attend through WIOA, DCEO, and other workforce, foundation, or donor funding. Aspiritech works with each student to fund their program.
Fees: The only other cost is the $99 application and reservation fee, which holds your seat.
Exam fees: Covered for many participants by funding; otherwise paid by the participant (amounts in the table above).
Who can apply: Adults 18+ with a computer and reliable internet. No diagnosis required.
