Join Aspiritech this Autism Awareness Month as we host Steve Silberman on 4/13

In celebration of Autism Awareness MonthAspiritech, NUCASLL and the Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Laboratory at Northwestern University, and the AARTS Center at Rush University invite the public to join us as we host Steve Silberman, author of Neurotribes: The Legacy of Autism and the Future of Neurodiversity, a New York Times bestseller and winner of the 2015 Samuel Johnson Prize for non-fiction.

Following Steve Silberman’s presentation, he will be joined by a panel to discuss “Looking ahead; expanding opportunities for transitioning youth and adults on the autism spectrum.” The panel will be moderated by Ann Hermes-Tudor, LCSW, Rush University; and will include Steve Silberman; Rachel Loftin, PhD, Rush University; Molly Losh, PhD, Northwestern University; Brenda Weitzberg, Aspiritech; and Ron Brix, Aspiritech. Also included: Resource fair, networking opportunity and light refreshments. CEs will be available.
